Baby Shower Games
There are a lot of games to do with Dr. Seuss theme. One of the famous games is One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish. It is a guessing game in which the party host will put colored fishes inside a jar or fish bowl. The fishes can be in colors red and blue to follow the title of the game. The guests will try to guess how many fishes are there in the jar. A twist can be done by guessing how many red fishes and blue fishes are there.
The game that I love is entitled “Horton Sees a What?” It is a memory game that involves baby items such as diaper, aspirator, cloth pins, baby bottles, bottle brush and clothes. The items will be placed on a tray and will be displayed to the guests for a minute. It will then be covered and guests will write down as many items as they can remember. The one who has written a lot of items is the winner.
Dr. Seuss Baby Shower Decorations
The colorful and whimsical stories of Dr. Seuss can be easily incorporated as the venue’s decorations. Guests will love to see a life-size Truffula Trees made of tissue poms on sticks. They can also be included at the centerpiece using feathers and straws.
The place can also be filled with red and white hats, just like the hat of the Cat. It is the most famous character of Dr. Seuss and I also don’t want this item to be out of the baby shower theme. Standees of the Cat or Horton or Thing 1 and Thing 2 will also delight the guests. The standees can bear quotes from Dr. Seuss’ stories or directions where to put the gifts or where the party area is.
Baby Shower Food
Everyone loves food and it is one of the most important things in baby showers. The food in a Dr. Seuss baby shower can be labeled according to Dr. Seuss’ terminologies and characters. Example of food labels are Green Eggs and Ham sandwiches, Brown Bar Baloots Grapes and Noodle Eating Poodle Noodles pasta. Surely, everyone will enjoy eating the Seussified foods in the baby shower.
Dr. Seuss Baby Shower Favors
With this exciting theme, there are so many shower favors that can be given away. Dr. Seuss favors can be character sugar cookies such as Cat in the Hat or Horton. Another popular favor is an organic soap in the shape of Dr. Seuss characters. Thing 1 and Thing 2 cupcakes can also be used in a Dr. Seuss baby shower.
